How it works

See your whole picture.
Focus where it matters most.

Vital8 brings eight evidence-based areas of cardiovascular health into one clear assessment. Enter what you know across nutrition, activity, nicotine exposure, sleep, body size, cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure. Complete at least five areas for a partial score; all eight provide the fullest picture.

Your score is a starting point for action. Vital8 shows what is already supporting your health, identifies the areas with the greatest opportunity for improvement, and helps you understand how those areas work together. The goal is to help you focus your time and effort where it may have the greatest practical return for your long-term health.

Diet uses a 16-item Mediterranean Eating Pattern Questionnaire. Optional fitness and biomarker lenses add context without changing your base score. For the American Heart Association scoring framework, use the separate Life’s Essential 8 calculator.

Vital8 provides educational guidance, not a diagnosis, treatment plan, emergency service, or validated prediction of cardiovascular events.
